After BOYNEXTDOOR's comeback, they won first place on a music program for the first time. They appeared on SBS M, SBS FiL's "THE SHOW" in Korea on the 23rd and won first place with the title track "Earth, Wind & Fire" from their 2nd EP "HOW?". The members expressed their gratitude to the staff of the company, saying, "There were many difficult times until we made this album. We were able to endure those times thanks to ONEDOOR (BOYNEXTDOOR's fans). They are the ones who gave us a reason to live, so we will continue to strive to become proud singers." BOYNEXTDOOR performed "Earth, Wind & Fire" and the track "OUR" on this day. Through "OUR," which depicts the excitement of a first date, they proudly showcased their refreshing and lively charm, while "Earth, Wind & Fire" released dynamic energy and realistically expressed the feelings of six boys swaying in their first love. In particular, the members spit out the lyrics like a machine gun, added a double-speed effect to the "Sped-Up" part, and even handled the fast rap parts live, leaving a strong impression. In the encore stage that followed the first place win, they showcased powerful vocals. The members sang the lyrics of "Sped-Up" with "ONEDOOR" included, and demonstrated stable performances up to the fourth octave, proving themselves as a talented group. BOYNEXTDOOR has gained popularity with their 2nd EP "HOW?". This album achieved an initial sales of 531,911 copies, nearly 20% higher than the initial sales of their previous 1st mini album "WHY.." (449,218 copies). In Japan, they recorded sales of nearly 77,000 copies, almost double compared to their previous work, and for the first time, they reached the top spot on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking (dated April 29 / survey period: April 15-21). BOYNEXTDOOR will perform "Earth, Wind & Fire" on MBC MUSIC's "SHOW CHAMPION" broadcasted in Korea today (24th) at 5 p.m.
