Mark of NCT is leaving SM Entertainment. Today (3rd) afternoon, the agency SM Entertainment revealed, "After a long time of deep discussion regarding Mark's future activities and sufficient mutual talks, we have agreed to terminate the exclusive contract as of April 8." It continued, "Mark will end all NCT activities, including NCT 127 and NCT DREAM," and explained, "In the future, NCT 127 will continue with seven members: Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan, while NCT DREAM will continue with six members: Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jemin, Chenle, and Jisung." Mark debuted as a member of NCT in 2016 and has gained popularity through both group and solo activities. NCT DREAM has completed their fourth tour, with members crying during the finale performance, raising concerns among fans.
