To commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the global boy group n.SSign’s Japan debut, CS Home Drama Channel will broadcast live performances and interview programs for three consecutive months starting in October under the title “n.SSign Selection Part 2”! Beginning with the first TV broadcast of “n.SSign JAPAN TOUR [EVERBLUE] Final in TOKYO GARDEN THEATER” on Sunday, October 25, we will successively deliver rare footage that fans must see. This time, to celebrate the start of the special feature, an interview with the members has arrived! From behind the scenes of the energetic live performance to messages of gratitude for COSMO (the name of the fans) who have walked with them for three years, they spoke at length. [Present] Two people will be chosen by lottery to receive a polaroid with n.SSign’s handwritten signatures! Apply by following and reposting. — “n.SSign JAPAN TOUR [EVERBLUE] Final in TOKYO GARDEN THEATER,” held last June, will be broadcast on October 25. What kind of live performance was it for you? Hiwon: Personally, I think it was the most complete live performance up to now. I myself was able to grow, and it was a tour in which the team was able to upgrade even more. Doha: I think it is the live performance that most shows “n.SSign-ness.” I took a year off, and I resumed activities from this performance, so I have especially strong feelings about it, and it was also a very big challenge for me. I still remember the warm gaze the fans gave me during my solo stage. Kazuta: “Apocalypse” is such a perfect opening song that the moment I heard it, I thought, “Ah, this is a song for the start of a live show.” Starting with that song raised our excitement, and I also remember very well how the fans got excited the moment we appeared. Lawrence: I only have fun memories. And it was also the live performance where I cried the most. The song “HOME” is truly moving, and I cried every time I sang it. Hanjun: In “HOME,” which we performed in this live show, after my part, a video showing us from our trainee days to the present is played. Watching it on stage, I got teary-eyed too. Doha: Hanjun may have been able to watch the VCR calmly because his part was already over, but I had a part to sing immediately after the VCR, so I was so nervous that I couldn’t concentrate at all. The timing of entering was difficult too. I think you’ll be able to see my very tense expression in the broadcast. Seongyun: In the VCR, scenes from our audition days appear, and everyone is completely children, so cute (laughs). I think you’ll be surprised by the gap compared with how we are now. Hanjun: We were “country dogs,” right? Hiwon: Now you’re just a large dog (laughs). My favorite stage is the “EVERBLUE” stage. In the final performance, we changed it a little from the original version and added arrangements and direction so that all the members could get even more excited, so I think it will make people feel happy. Kazuta: We also did solo stages, right? What did I do again? (looking at the set list) Ah, right, right. “Guilty” (laughs). Robin did “Tasty.” Robin: “Tasty” was my first stage doing rap alone, so it was very stimulating. Through this experience, I started to want to try not only Korean but also Japanese rap songs on the next tour. Lawrence: I performed a dance medley. Actually, during practice, we changed the songs several times. Each time, we had to practice again, so it was quite hard. But because of that, I think it became a stage worth watching, so please pay attention to it. — The “2nd ANNIVERSARY FANMEETING ‘2&SSign’,” which will air on November 29, was a fan meeting to celebrate the second anniversary with COSMO. Looking back, what kind of day do you remember it as? Hanjun: There were many songs we hadn’t done in a while, like “Love Like Oxygen” (SHINee) and “Wolf” (EXO), and I remember the fans were very happy. Robin: There is a little behind-the-scenes story about “Love Like Oxygen”... How should I put it? Kazuta: Hanjun, explain it for him. Hanjun: (laughs). The day before the performance, it was discovered that I was singing Robin’s part, and we changed all the blocking the day before. Thanks to that, I was extremely nervous on the day (laughs). Robin: I prayed that I wouldn’t make a mistake. Doha: We also did a project like “Who can make COSMO’s heart flutter the most?” right? Hanjun: “(adding musical-style gestures in Japanese) Your hair, your face, your eyes~” Kazuta: I remember that this was the day we first called COSMO “Ko-chan.” It was “Ko-chan’s” birthday... probably. Robin: The section where we read letters in Japanese is also a highlight. Lawrence wrote an incredibly long letter, which made me laugh. Lawrence: I worked hard and wrote a lot! Doha: And you read it so slowly that the live show time got longer, right? (laughs) That is also one of the highlights. — You will reach the 3rd anniversary of your Japan debut on November 29. How do you honestly feel right now? Lawrence: Time really passes so quickly, doesn’t it? Over these three years, there have been moving moments and difficult moments, but I’m happy that I was able to come this far together with the members. Hiwon: I can only feel gratitude toward COSMO. It is because the fans are there that we have been able to come this far. Every year, when I look back on the year, I find that thanks to COSMO, only good memories remain. That is why I am very much looking forward to our future activities. Seongyun: When we debuted, I had nothing but hope, and I was full of the feeling that exciting days were waiting for us. But after working for three years, I learned that the world is not that easy. There are moments when you have to face reality, and times when you have to stay calm. I want to keep a strong heart and overcome things one by one from here on. Hanjun: When I debuted, I thought that three years later I would have become a more muscular, beautiful-bodied man. But I remained healthy as ever (laughs). Please look forward to my body three years from now (laughs). Robin: I always tell COSMO, “I will become a more proud Robin, a more proud n.SSign.” That feeling has not changed. I promise to show you an even cooler, more grown-up side of us from here on. — Finally, please give a message to the viewers of Home Drama Channel who are looking forward to the broadcast. Kazuta: To everyone watching Home Drama Channel, this time a live performance packed with many of our memories will be broadcast. I think COSMO will remember, while watching, “Oh, that happened back then,” and people who do not know us well yet will feel, “There is such a fun group.” Please watch the broadcast.
