SEVENTEEN’s Jun has foreshadowed a strong addictive quality. From the 25th to the 26th, Jun released the trailer video and poster for his first Chinese EP, “9,” through official SNS. In the first trailer video, he enters the human world for the first time as a “nine-tailed fox” and faces unfamiliar emotions while listening to someone’s wish. It creates an immersive feeling as if watching a movie, heightening expectations for the new song. Also, in the fourth trailer video, a part of the new song was revealed. It depicts the sense of accomplishment and ease felt after fulfilling others’ wishes, and Jun’s singing voice resonating amid a light beat and guitar riff captivates the ears. Although it is only about a 15-second video, it boasts a strong addictive quality. Through the poster released at the same time, the story of the album is expressed even more deeply. It deeply portrays the process in which expectations and curiosity for a new world change into doubt and regret through expectation and joy, stimulating the viewer’s curiosity. Jun’s first Chinese EP “9,” to be released at 11 a.m. on the 28th, is an album born inspired by the Chinese folk legend “Nine-Life Cat Demon,” in which a cat, after undergoing training and gaining nine tails, obtains eternal life.

SEVENTEEN’s Jun has been cast as the lead, Su Cheng, in the Chinese film Rebirth 2, set for release in China on October 3. He plays a man searching across China for his missing younger brother, and will show both delicate emotional acting and action scenes. The film follows two people uncovering a huge conspiracy involving a criminal organization and seeking revenge. Jun stars alongside Isabella Leong, Sammo Hung, and Bai Ke. He has also been active in China through the Silk Road International Film Festival and a nomination for the Hundred Flowers Award.
SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan revealed that he had serious health problems during his military service. He said his stomach and intestines became very bad, causing him to lose 13 kg and drop to 53 kg before he began exercising. He also joked with Na Young-seok and blamed Mingyu.
On the afternoon of the 16th, a VIP screening of the film “Tazza: Song of Beelzebub” was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul. Attendees included SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, EXO’s Suho, 2PM’s Taecyeon, Park Jae-min, Ong Seong-wu, Moon Sang-min, Ko Kyung-pyo, and more. The film, the final chapter of the “Tazza” series, is a crime action movie about Jang Tae-young and his friend Park Tae-young, who meet again at a gambling site and engage in a revenge battle.
