ENHYPEN made a comeback with a new album that spun a paradoxical romance story. ENHYPEN released their 8th mini album, “THE SIN : BLISS,” yesterday (the 21st) at 1 p.m. This album is the second work in the “THE SIN” series, which is themed on sin, and it contains the process in which lovers who broke a taboo and chose escape, after repeated crises, accept each other’s very existence as “bliss.” At 0 a.m. today (the 22nd), the music video for the title track “Bloody Paradise” was also released. “Bloody Paradise” is a song that contrasts a tense situation with the sense of liberation felt within it. It is based on the Brazilian funk genre, with producer JULiA LEWiS participating, and Dynamic Duo’s GAEKO also being listed in the lyrics. In the music video, ENHYPEN, even among prisoners who are confused and scattered, did not lose their resolute attitude, and after deviating, showed themselves enjoying a complete sense of liberation and racing toward freedom. In particular, attention was drawn to the way they broke out of the darkness ENHYPEN had shown until now and exploded with even wilder and rougher energy. The exotic scenery of the footage shot in Peru also heightened the immersion. “THE SIN : BLISS” was structured as a concept album in which the lyrics and sound of each track connect into one story. The members also explained, “It is a concept album in which the story, lyrics, and sound are all organically connected. If you listen to the music in the order of the tracks, I think you can feel a deeper sense of immersion.” In “Two Fools,” it depicts the two people who fell in love; in “Stuck” and “Bad For You,” it depicts a relationship in which they rely on each other amid repeated crises. Then, in “Bloody Paradise,” crisis and a sense of liberation intersect, and in “Checkmate,” the bond between the two is depicted. “Highlight” is composed in a flow that looks back on the journey so far. Also, the four narration tracks included in the album were produced in four languages: Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Actor Park Jung-min, Japanese actor and voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda, and Chinese singer Lars Huang (Huang Zihongfan) participated in the narration.
