SHINee’s Minho set an astonishing record in his first full marathon, proving his extraordinary athletic ability. Through his own SNS, he shared his recent status after participating in the “2026 JTBC Seoul Marathon,” held on the 1st. In the photos released, Minho appeared at the venue wearing black running wear and a headband. While his toned leg muscles and his body, trained through exercise, stood out, there was also a pose in which he placed both hands on his waist before the start. However, the road to finishing did not seem easy at all. In another photo, he was captured kneeling with both hands and catching his breath. Even in the unfavorable weather with rain falling, his passion for running all the way to the end comes through strongly. What is most surprising above all is that record. The completion certificate Minho released stated a time of 3 hours 00 minutes 18 seconds. In his very first full marathon challenge in his life, he achieved a good record in the 3-hour range. He expressed his joy, saying, “My first full marathon, safely completed.” He continued, “sub3 failed... 18 seconds... still, a very worthwhile experience. The reason life is a marathon.” Sub3 means completing a full marathon in under 3 hours. Although Minho fell short of his target time by just 18 seconds, he astonished those around him by setting a record of 3:00:18 in his first attempt.
