BOYNEXTDOOR's second single in Japan, 'BOYLIFE,' has shipped over 250,000 copies and has received gold disc platinum certification for September. The Japan Record Association awards gold disc certifications based on cumulative shipments of singles and albums, with gold (over 100,000), platinum (over 250,000), double platinum (over 500,000), triple platinum (over 750,000), and million (over 1,000,000) certifications. Following their first single 'AND,' released last July, this marks their second consecutive platinum certification. 'BOYLIFE' has sold approximately 346,000 copies and has achieved the number one spot on the Oricon weekly single ranking and the weekly combined single ranking (as of September 1, 2025). BOYNEXTDOOR is the first overseas artist to sell over 300,000 copies in the first week of an album release in Japan this year and to reach number one on the weekly single ranking. BOYNEXTDOOR will also grace the finale stage of the opening ceremony for the 2025 World Men's Volleyball Championship as global ambassadors on the 12th at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. They are the first Korean artists to be appointed as ambassadors for a tournament organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
