Tohoshinki attended the "Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Illumination Lighting Ceremony feat. Tohoshinki" held on the 18th. Every year at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, the "HIBIYA Magic Time Illumination" is held, and this day was the first day of lighting at the 6th-floor Park View Garden. Dressed in gray suits, Yunho and Changmin engaged in lively conversation with the MC, Taiki Tsutsumi, enhancing the event's atmosphere. Yunho commented on Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, saying, "I researched online before the event, and there are many shops and bars here." Changmin agreed, saying, "I want to go drinking in private." Furthermore, Yunho invited MC Tsutsumi, saying, "Let's go drinking!" and Changmin lightened the mood with, "Of course." When asked about Christmas memories, Yunho smiled and said, "This year, I will be spending it with everyone at Osaka Castle Hall for a live concert, so I want to have a warm time together." Changmin shared, "When I think of Christmas memories, I remember going to amusement parks with family, eating delicious food, and gathering to watch Christmas movies. I'm looking forward to this year's Christmas concert." Before pressing the lighting button, Tohoshinki showed signs of nervousness for their first lighting ceremony. The two expressed their excitement, saying, "We are really looking forward to this," and "It's getting dark, perfect for the illumination, so we are excited." When the lighting button was pressed, the venue was filled with red, Tohoshinki's image color. With the background music of Tohoshinki's Christmas song "Very Merry Xmas," a red ocean of lights spread out, prompting Yunho to exclaim, "I want to take a picture too." After the lighting, Changmin reflected, "With our Christmas song playing, it hit me that it's that time of year." During the event, Tohoshinki also commented on their 20th anniversary. Yunho remarked, "Time has flown by. We have come this far thanks to the support of our fans, so I want to work harder with more responsibility." Changmin added, "We could celebrate our 20th anniversary because of everyone who lights us up like this illumination. We also want to shine for our fans." They also shared stories about their 20th-anniversary album "ZONE," released on the 6th. Changmin mentioned the music video for the song "IT'S TRUE IT'S HERE," recalling, "Before the shoot, I was told to show a natural look as in daily life. I shot with a very casual hairstyle, but I never thought it would be used as is." Yunho added humorously, "My glasses and Changmin's pineapple-like hairstyle have already become a topic of discussion." In closing, Tohoshinki expressed their overflowing love for fans. Yunho said, "As I mentioned earlier, we could celebrate our 20th anniversary thanks to everyone here, and I am very grateful. We are also preparing hard for the live concert, so please look forward to seeing us grow more and more." Changmin commented, "It was a fleeting time, but I had a lot of fun seeing the beautiful illumination. I sincerely thank the reporters who came out in the cold and everyone who attended." He also thanked MC Tsutsumi for the smooth proceedings, to which Yunho nodded, saying, "Thank you." As they wrapped up their talk, they surprised the MC by revealing they had been rehearsing for a live concert just before the event. During the photo time, they smiled and waved at the cameras, responding to requests from the press with heart poses, showcasing their gentlemanly behavior. From today until December 1st (Sunday), a limited-time shop "TOHOSHINKI 20th Anniversary POP-UP STORE ~ZONE~" is open in the underground plaza of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. During this period, every hour at 20 minutes past the hour, the "PARK VIEW WINTER GARDEN" will be illuminated in Tohoshinki's image color, red.
