Regarding the years-long love rumor between BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) Jimin and actress Son Da-eun, the agency has spoken out. BIGHIT MUSIC, Jimin's agency, stated on the 31st through an official comment, "The artist has had a relationship of affection with the other party in the past, but that was several years ago, and they are not currently in a relationship." They continued, "We respect Jimin's private life and the party mentioned in relation to it, and we have not clarified our position until now. However, due to the ongoing various speculations and reports surrounding the artist's private life, and the spread of rumors that are not true, we have no choice but to clarify the minimum facts." They also stated, "We kindly ask that indiscriminate speculation about private lives be refrained from. We sincerely request that actions that may harm the party mentioned alongside the artist also be avoided." The love rumor between the two first emerged in 2022 when Son Da-eun made a post on her Instagram that suggested Jimin. Recently, Son Da-eun posted a video on her TikTok account showing her waiting for someone in front of an elevator. When the elevator door opened, Jimin appeared, surprising Son Da-eun, who captured Jimin's reaction, "Oh, I was surprised. Did you know I was coming? I came without saying on purpose." This led to renewed speculation about their romance. While Son Da-eun has avoided direct comments on the love rumors, she has continuously shown mental distress over negative comments from fans. Recently, during a late-night live stream, she was seen choking up while saying, "It's all your fault." Son Da-eun gained attention after appearing in Channel A's "Heart Signal" Season 2, which aired in Korea in 2018.
