The main poster and teaser video for 2PM Taecyeon's Japanese film debut "Grand Maison Paris" have been released and are a hot topic. On the 2nd, the main poster and teaser video for the movie "Grand Maison Paris" were first released through the official website. The film is a work that adapts the popular drama "Grand Maison Tokyo," which aired on TBS in 2019, into a movie, with Kimura Takuya, Suzuki Kyoka, Sawamura Ikki, and Oikawa Mitsuhiro, the cast of the drama, teaming up again. In the film, Taecyeon plays the role of Rick Yuan, a Korean-Canadian pastry chef who constantly clashes with Chef Natsuki Onohana (Kimura Takuya). Taecyeon portrays a character with the ability to have his own shop in Paris as a pastry chef and a special passion for cooking, performing in three languages: Korean, Japanese, and French. The film depicts Kimura Takuya's character Onohana, with the new team of Grand Maison Paris, aiming to become the first Asian to win three Michelin stars in France, which has the longest history among the Michelin Guides published in over 40 countries worldwide. The movie is scheduled to be released in winter 2024, with a special drama for "Grand Maison Tokyo" also set to air at the same time. In the main poster, the cast, including Kimura Takuya and Taecyeon, are depicted moving forward with fearless smiles, previewing the passionate challenge of "Team Grand Maison" taking on the world. The 30-second teaser video features beautiful scenery shot in Paris, France, and the cast focusing on cooking. Taecyeon's scene where he shows anger also stood out. Taecyeon, making his first appearance in a Japanese film, expressed through his agency 51K, "I was excited to be able to act with Kimura Takuya, whom I have admired, and it was an honor to participate as a member of a good work. Through this experience of working with staff from various countries while traveling between Japan and Paris, I also received a lot of good stimulation. By immersing myself in my character and being able to embody it, I gained confidence that I can always take on new challenges. Like Team Grand Maison, who struggles to win the Michelin "three stars," I hope that those who watch this film will be encouraged to 'keep moving towards their dreams, and eventually those dreams will come true.'" In addition to this work, Taecyeon has also been announced to star alongside Isomura Hayato in the Japanese Netflix series "Soulmate," attracting attention for his activities in Japan. 2PM Taecyeon, co-starring with Kimura Takuya!
