&TEAM won their first trophy in a Korean music program. On November 4, &TEAM won first place with their title track 'Back to Life' from their first mini-album in Korea on SBS M's 'THE SHOW'. The members expressed, 'It felt strange just to stand as a candidate for first place, but it is meaningful to receive this award as our first since debuting in Korea. Thanks to everyone in LUNÉ (the nickname for &TEAM's fans), we were able to receive this award. We are really grateful.' During the encore stage, some members sang with tears in their eyes, waving to fans to express their gratitude. They debuted in Korea on October 28 and have gained even more popularity since then. &TEAM's first mini-album 'Back to Life' sold 1,139,988 copies on the day of release, also ranking first in the HANTEO chart's daily rankings. They recorded a total of 1,222,022 copies in initial sales (counting period from October 28 to November 3), officially joining the ranks of 'top-tier groups' in the K-POP scene. &TEAM previously recorded over 1 million sales with their third Japanese single 'Go in Blind' (certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan as of July). They are the first Japanese artists to achieve million-seller status in both Korea and Japan. Their presence in Japan remains overwhelming. 'Back to Life' also topped the latest Oricon weekly album ranking (as of November 10) and Billboard JAPAN's Top Albums Sales (counting period from October 27 to November 2). This is the first time a Korean album by a Japanese artist has topped both charts. Beyond the stage, &TEAM showcases their approachable charm through various content. They previously appeared on 'STUDIO CHOOM', 'Idol Human Theater', 'The Return of Superman', 'ON YOUR ARTIST', and made a surprise appearance as a weathercaster on YTN news on November 4, attracting public attention. EJ reported from the scene, while K and HARUA shared tips on dressing for the autumn temperature differences and health precautions. They concluded the broadcast with a 'wolf pose' symbolizing the group, leaving a strong impression. &TEAM is a nine-member group formed in 2022 from HYBE's global boy group debut project '&AUDITION - The Howling'. The group consists of leader EJ from Korea, NICHOLAS from Taiwan, and K, FUMA, YUMA, JO, HARUA, and MAKI from Japan. &TEAM also surprised fans by releasing the music video for their song 'Lunatic', featuring intense dance moves, and visited a Korean pop-up shop, enjoying shopping and photo spots, even signing a wall inside the store.
