The mediation date between ADOR and NewJeans was held again. The Seoul Central District Court Civil Agreement Division 41 (Chief Judge: Jeong Hae-il) conducted mediation procedures today (14th) in the lawsuit filed by ADOR to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract against the five members of NewJeans. On this mediation date, members Minji and Danielle attended at the request of the court. They lightly bowed and said 'sorry' to the press as they headed to the court. The mediation was held privately for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, during which the court announced that another mediation date would be held on September 11. The five members of NewJeans claimed that their exclusive contract with ADOR, a label under HYBE, was terminated last November and they began their own activities. In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit in January this year against the NewJeans members to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract and requested a provisional injunction to prevent them from engaging in activities and signing advertising contracts, which the court accepted. As a result, NewJeans has been unable to continue their activities until the main lawsuit is concluded. - Created a video with sexual expressions of NewJeans... Ordered to pay about 3 million yen to a YouTuber - NewJeans presented conditions to return to ADOR... In the third hearing, they claimed 'anxiety to the point of needing treatment for depression.'
