iKON's BOBBY and CHANU will enlist in May. Their agency 143 Entertainment announced today (7th) that "iKON members BOBBY and CHANU will fulfill their national defense duties starting on May 21st and 27th." They also conveyed, "There will be no official events on the day of enlistment, and they will enlist privately to prevent accidents due to overcrowding. We ask for your understanding." Their enlistment follows JINAN, who enlisted last July. Before enlisting, BOBBY held solo concerts in Osaka, Tokyo, and Manila from February, and interacted with fans from Korea and abroad through the last Seoul performance on March 30th. CHANU will hold a solo event "CHAN CHAN CHAN ~Special Time~" in Kanagawa and Osaka from April 19th to 21st, and plans to release solo songs. They express gratitude to fans who have cherished iKON and themselves before enlistment, spending time together. SEVENTEEN and NCT members, as well as other stars preparing to enlist in 2024, iKON celebrates its 8th anniversary in Japan with comments pouring in, "The warm welcome we received when we first visited is still unforgettable."
