On the 2nd, the agency The Black Label revealed that Rosé's pre-release single 'APT.' recorded 2nd place on the UK Official Singles Chart 'TOP 100'. The UK Official Chart is listed among the two major pop charts in the world along with the American Billboard chart. Rosé rose to 2nd place on the chart with 'APT.', updating the highest record for K-POP female artists. Additionally, it achieved the second highest rank among all records set by K-POP songs on the Official Chart. 'APT.' was released as a pre-release single ahead of Rosé's official comeback on December 6 and is also set to be included in her first full album 'rosie'. The album 'rosie' will contain a total of 12 songs, including the title track, and Rosé plans to share her more candid yet private stories as she participated in writing and composing all the songs in this album. The song, which had its audio and music video released on October 18, achieved a 'perfect all-kill' by sweeping to #1 on various domestic music streaming sites immediately after its release. Following its domestic success, 'APT.' continued to create a global syndrome. It landed at #1 on the US Spotify chart and topped the iTunes charts in 40 regions. It also reached #1 on QQ Music, China's largest music streaming site, showcasing the heat of 'APT.' in the Americas and Asia. Through this single 'APT.', Rosé has been continuously updating her career highs. She became the first domestic female solo artist to reach #1 on both the US Spotify and Global Spotify Top Songs charts, and within seven days of the audio release, she reached 100 million streams on Spotify, breaking the shortest record for K-POP female solo artists. Additionally, she recorded #8 on the US Billboard's main singles chart 'HOT 100', achieving the highest record for K-POP female artists. The music video for 'APT.', featuring Bruno Mars and noted for its visual beauty, surpassed 100 million views in just five days after its release. It also maintained its position as the most popular rising video and music in South Korea, trending #1 in both South Korea and the US, proving its popularity.
