tvN launches a voice documentary 'I Am K' that gathers the voices of people around the world who love K-content. The voice documentary 'I Am K' interprets the essence of the K-content syndrome through diverse perspectives and deep insights from people involved in K-content both domestically and internationally. In particular, it adds a special touch as an 'interview-centered voice documentary' that leads the entire story solely through questions and answers, based on the global survey 'Overseas Korean Wave Reality Survey' conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea International Culture Exchange Foundation (KOFICE) in 30 major countries overseas. This survey, conducted online from November to December 2025, targeted 27,400 locals who have experienced Korean cultural content across five continents: Asia-Pacific, America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It aims to present new perspectives and interpretations of the ongoing K-content syndrome. The documentary is composed of questions and answers from 43 figures in the domestic popular culture scene, global scholars, and K-content fans. It features prominent figures representing the K-movie and K-drama syndrome, such as director Park Chan-wook, writer Kim Eun-hee, actors Lee Jung-jae, Jang Hee-jin, Girls' Generation's YoonA, 2PM's Junho, Im Si-wan, Choi Woo-shik, Byung Woo-suk, Kim Min-ha, Lee Chae-min, Arden Cho, and K-POP stars like H.O.T.'s Moon Hee-jun, Tony An, former Wonder Girls' Sunmi, SHINee's Onew, ATEEZ, P1Harmony, TWS, and izna. Additionally, it adds credibility with opinions from global scholars like writer Bernard Werber, James A. Robinson, who will receive the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2024, Janet Yang, the first Asian president of the Academy, and Donald Sassoon, a world-renowned expert in European comparative history at University College London. Furthermore, real feedback from global fans who love K-content will convey the phenomenon of the K-content syndrome that has excited the whole world in a more three-dimensional way. 'I Am K' consists of two parts: Part 1 'Why do you love K?' and Part 2 'What is K?'. In Part 1, figures from the domestic popular culture scene act as interviewers, asking fans about 'the reasons for the global enthusiasm for K-content', and fans respond. In Part 2, fans ask 'the secret to K-content's popularity', and figures from Korea answer. The first teaser video reveals a single question that Korean artists have for fans of K-content: 'What do you like about me?' Artists stand in front of the camera, surprised to hear fans' answers to this question. What answers do K-content fans convey? They plan to express their candid thoughts on the K-content syndrome, raising expectations for the program. tvN's voice documentary 'I Am K' Part 1 will air on April 7 at 10:10 PM, and Part 2 on April 8 at 10:40 PM.
