Lapillus's Japanese member Shana announced that her contract with the agency ended about six months ago. Recently, through her Instagram, she wrote, 'Actually, it has been six months, but I have ended my contract early by mutual agreement. I will never forget everyone who has supported me. I sincerely thank the people at the company who took care of me and everyone who has watched over me. I will move forward towards new challenges.' Along with this message, she released a handwritten letter in English, Korean, and Japanese. In the letter, she stated, 'I have wanted to convey this for a long time, but I wasn't sure if I should say it first, so I couldn't say it for a while. However, I thought that if I stayed silent, I wouldn't be able to hold my head high in front of those who supported me, so I decided to share it.' She announced, 'I have currently ended my contract with the agency I was affiliated with.' She also mentioned, 'After the contract ended, I tried various things and finally found the path to move forward.' She expressed gratitude to the members she had worked with. Shana gained attention by reaching the finals of Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999: Girl Festival' broadcast in 2021. She debuted as a member of the girl group Lapillus under MLD Entertainment in June 2022. Notably, she served as the group's leader despite being the Japanese member. In August 2023, she made her Japanese debut with the release of 'Who's Next (Japanese Ver.)'. - Lapillus finally debuts today!
