She stated, "From the beginning, I designed everything with the five members in mind. Their appearance, voices, colors, styles, and movements were all structured based on 'five.' That's why people are enthusiastic, and that's why a complete form was achieved." She continued, "Now that they have returned, these five must be cherished," adding, "Unnecessary confusion or interpretations do not help." Furthermore, she said, "The essence targets me, but I hope they are not involved in that process. They should be protected and not exploited. NewJeans exists as five." NewJeans announced their return to ADOR about a year after the unilateral contract termination declaration last November. Recently, Hae-rin and Hae-in expressed their intention to continue activities with ADOR.
