Former ADOR representative Min Hee-jin, when the content of KakaoTalk exchanged with a shaman three years ago was mentioned, rebutted, saying, 'This is unrelated to the contract between shareholders.' Min Hee-jin attended the hearing today (18th) at the Seoul Central District Court Civil Division 31 (Chief Judge: Nam In-soo) regarding a lawsuit for the payment of stock sales related to the exercise of a put option with HYBE. On this day, when HYBE's representative submitted the content of the KakaoTalk exchanged three years ago as evidence, she stated, 'This is KakaoTalk from March 2021, but I do not understand how it relates to the shareholder contract.' She further explained, 'March 22 was the day all employees were supposed to come to the HYBE building. Therefore, the expression 'bring it' is written with 'it's a waste that I made it' on top, meaning that I built the building, so it's a waste, and there is no deeper meaning.' She continued, 'This KakaoTalk is from 2021 and predates the establishment of ADOR. At that time, there was no shareholder agreement, so I do not understand why I have to explain this content.' HYBE claimed last July that Min Hee-jin attempted to privatize NewJeans and ADOR and decided to terminate the shareholder agreement. Following this, in August, through the HYBE board of directors, Min Hee-jin was dismissed from her position as ADOR CEO. Subsequently, in November of the same year, she resigned as an internal director and notified HYBE of the exercise of the put option. In this regard, HYBE stated, 'Since the shareholder agreement was terminated in July, the effectiveness of the put option has also disappeared.' On the other hand, Min Hee-jin's side claims, 'There is no fact of breach of the shareholder agreement, and the notice of termination by HYBE has no effect.'
