
BOYNEXTDOOR’s repackaged version of its first full album, “HOME: DELUXE,” debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking (dated October 2, 2026) on its first day of release in Japan. Following the 1st EP through the 5th EP, the 1st Studio Album, and the two singles released in Japan, this new work also ranked high on the same chart, proving the group’s strong popularity in Japan as well. Furthermore, on the 5th, according to HANTEO Chart, a Korean album sales tally site, it sold a total of 700,028 copies in one week from its release on September 28, surpassing half a million copies despite being a repackaged work and taking first place on the weekly album chart. “HOME: DELUXE” is an album that contains the determination to expand the range of musical expression with new perspectives and emotions beyond a familiar space. Following the previous work, which sang their own story, it contains the ambition to move toward a wider world based on their journey so far. In addition to the 9 songs included on the 1st Studio Album, it includes 14 tracks in total, adding the new songs “ANIMAL” and “CLICHE,” the Korean version of “Count To Love,” “Boom Boom Boom,” and “400 Years,” their first fan song released on YouTube. “HOME: DELUXE” ranked No. 2 on Korea’s Apple Music “Popular Albums” for two days from September 29. It also ranked on the “Popular Albums” charts in 14 countries and regions, including Japan, China, Singapore, and Turkey, and by 8:00 a.m. on the 4th, it had also appeared on iTunes “Top Albums” in six countries and regions, including Russia, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. The title track “ANIMAL” recorded No. 22 on Korea’s YouTube “Trending Music” as of 8:00 a.m. on the 4th. It also ranked No. 24 on the “Song TOP 100” dated the 3rd on LINE MUSIC, a major Japanese music distribution site. On the daily “New Song TOP 100,” which targets new songs released within 30 days, it ranked No. 17. Furthermore, the title track “ANIMAL” ranked No. 20 on Korea’s YouTube “Trending Music” as of 10:00 a.m. on the 5th. On Spotify, the global music streaming platform, it recorded more than 1 million cumulative streams as of the 3rd. It is being widely supported in countries including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. BOYNEXTDOOR appeared on SBS’s “Inkigayo” on the 4th and performed the new song’s stage. On that day’s broadcast, Lee Han and Woonhak served as special MCs and showed their good chemistry in their back-and-forth. On the 6th, they will appear on the special stage for KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs—2026 Palace Culture Festival Special,” to be held at the Gyeongbokgung Palace Heungnyemun Square. On the 10th and 11th, the final Japanese performances of their first world tour, “BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.2’,” are scheduled to be held at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba.

The 2026 MUSIC BANK GLOBAL FESTIVAL IN JAPAN will take place at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) on Dec. 12 and 13, 2026. Day 1 features MISAMO, NAYEON, aespa, and NCT WISH; Day 2 features Stray Kids, IVE, BOYNEXTDOOR, and CORTIS. MCs include KIM JAEWON, SANA, and JANG WONYOUNG. Premium lounge tickets and sales details were also announced.
HYBE CINE FEST 2026 will run in theaters nationwide from October 30, featuring three concert films from TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, and SEVENTEEN, plus HYBE CHEERING PARTY screenings. Advance tickets, exclusive bonuses, a 4-show online pass, and a Yurakucho Marui pop-up were also announced.
On a YouTube talk show, EXO’s Suho, SECHSKIES’ Eun Ji-won, SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups, and BOYNEXTDOOR’s Jaehyun discussed leadership. S.Coups talked about Dino’s struggles as the youngest member, and Eun Ji-won praised SEVENTEEN’s 13-member teamwork. Suho then confessed that he sometimes wonders if he should have led EXO more like S.Coups, but Eun Ji-won reassured him that Suho has led EXO in his own way.
