Chanyeol of EXO, ahead of Children's Day, donated 20 million won (about 2.25 million yen) for children with hearing impairments. The sponsorship will be used for various support projects such as cochlear implant surgery, language rehabilitation therapy, and external device support for hearing-impaired children. Chanyeol, in January 2021, began regular support for the hearing impaired and formed a connection with the nonprofit organization "Aino Katatsumuri." In addition to monthly regular support, he has carried out six additional sponsorships, practicing sustainable charity work. He expressed his joy in being able to deliver a meaningful gift ahead of Children's Day this year, following last year, and is full of gratitude. He conveyed his hope that through cochlear implant surgery, hearing-impaired children can grow up healthy while hearing the sounds of the world.
