"A performer you can believe and listen to" MONSTA X's Jooheon has entered the countdown for his solo comeback. On the 19th, his agency STARSHIP Entertainment released the scheduler for Jooheon's 2nd mini-album 'Light (INSANITY)' through MONSTA X's official SNS. The scheduler, produced in a vintage poster format with red and black tones, not only heightened expectations with various preview contents but also caught the eye with its sensory design reminiscent of a boxing arena. Additionally, the sound of the previously released coming soon video suggests that the sound is the bell signaling the start of a boxing round, hinting at an even more intense and unique concept than before. According to the released schedule, Jooheon will heighten the excitement before his comeback by releasing a music video teaser for the pre-release track on the 21st, followed by the music release on the 22nd. After further raising expectations for the new album with the tracklist on the 24th, three versions of concept photos will be released over three days from the 26th to the 28th. With version names like 'Tiger on the Ring', 'Madly Shining', and 'IN RED' revealed, curiosity is piqued about the story Jooheon will unfold through the album's concept. Jooheon will release the music video teaser for the title track on January 2, starting the new year powerfully, followed by an album preview on the 4th, and the release of the 2nd mini-album on the 5th. 'Light (INSANITY)' is an album that directly showcases the world of the solo artist 'JOONONEY'. The album title signifies the meeting of 'crazy light' and 'shining light', depicting the narrative of a young man’s impulse and passion as he first grasps music, and the collision of the weight of an artist on stage, ultimately merging into one light. Through this album, Jooheon plans to build his own independent musical world on the solid foundation he has established through performance, rap, vocals, and production. Especially since this is his first solo album in about 2 years and 8 months since the release of his first mini-album 'LIGHTS' in May 2023, attention is focused on how Jooheon's music will expand. Jooheon will officially enter his comeback activities with the release of the 2nd mini-album 'Light (INSANITY)' on January 5.
