SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan mentioned ASTRO's Moonbin and shed tears. On the 28th, the second performance of SEVENTEEN's encore concert "SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' AGAIN TO SEOUL" was held at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul Mapo-gu. Throughout the performance, they debuted the title track "MAESTRO" from the upcoming best album, as well as unit songs "Youth Anthem," "Spell," and "LALALI." On this day, during the second half of the performance, Seungkwan opened up, saying, "There are many things I want to say, but when I try to do it well, I get nervous. I've been trying to calm down, but my heart won't settle because I'm nervous." He continued, "Last year, when it was decided that I couldn't participate in the Seoul concert, none of the members complained to me. Everyone told me first, 'Seungkwan, take a rest slowly,' 'Don't think about anything, just rest slowly.' And last year, watching the members' concert, I thought, 'This won't do. I have to go.'" He then added, "CARATs (SEVENTEEN fans) are like that, and seeing everyone's love and the members' efforts on stage to repay that love, I felt a stronger sense of responsibility and was able to refresh and make a comeback." He also mentioned, "I don't think I can answer 'Are you okay?' with 'I'm fine' yet. It seems like I have to carry it in my heart for a long time. But in the process, I have to convey my love to the members and fans who have protected me, so I sincerely tell everyone like this." He then shed tears, saying, "When I sang 'Youth Anthem' earlier, a flower seed flew from the 'Dust' stage. Even in trivial things, sometimes it feels like there's a special meaning. I felt that strongly today. But because it's a very bright and happy song, if Bin (Moonbin's nickname) were to listen to this song, he would have said, 'Hey, Seungkwan, this song is good,' I think." He also said, "He was a colleague who always came to my concerts. It's a complicated feeling. But I have decided to live my life conveying love to everyone with all my might." He then expressed his gratitude to the members who supported him, the staff who supported him to be able to sing the song "Dandelion" publicly, and said, "I will continue to work hard for everyone. I want to continue to work hard. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart." Moonbin was found dead at his home in Seoul's Gangnam-gu on April 19 last year. He was 25 years old. Moonbin, who debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016, gained popularity with songs like "Blue Flame" and "Candy Sugar Pop." Seungkwan, VIVIZ's Umji, SinB, and Lee Suji from THE ARK were close friends known as the "98s (born in 1998)." Seungkwan announced a hiatus in July last year. After his return, at the "2023 MAMA AWARDS" held at Tokyo Dome in November, he commented on winning the Album of the Year award, saying, "I don't know if I can say this, but there have been so many things this year. I am very grateful to my friend Bin, who loved our group. I want to say thank you." He also mentioned memories on his and Moonbin's birthdays, making people feel nostalgic, and in February of this year, he released the solo song "Dandelion" to show deep friendship.
