The original members of "Crime Scene" are reuniting again on Netflix. Netflix announced the production of the variety program "Crime Scene Zero 2" and revealed that it has confirmed the appearance of the five main cast members from Season 1: Jang Jin, Park Ji-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Kim Ji-hoon, and IVE’s Yujin. "Crime Scene Zero" is a role-playing deduction game show in which players are divided into suspects and detectives and identify the true culprit of a murder case that occurred in a limited space such as a locked room. Last year, "Crime Scene Zero 1," which newly started in partnership with Netflix, received praise from viewers around the world as well as from the core fan base for its high level of completion, which perfected the meticulous construction of the cases and the essence of deduction. In this Season 2, the "all-time legend" members, who are said to be the backbone and identity of the series, are joining as they are, heightening expectations. Beginning with film director Jang Jin, who displays a unique sharp observational ability and veteran-like humanistic deduction, and Park Ji-yoon, who has appeared in every episode of every season and boasts unparalleled role-playing acting ability, they will take the lead. In addition, Jang Dong-min, the "playmaker" who turns the tide with his keen observational eye that catches others off guard and his unique quick wit; Kim Ji-hoon, who intensifies the suspense with meticulous psychological warfare and godlike acting befitting a psychology major; and Yujin, who has become a "deduction veteran" through sincere on-site clue searching and sharp intuition, will also join, completing perfect chemistry. Producer Yoon Hyun-joon, who is in charge of directing, said, "They are the five players who understand the world of 'Crime Scene' most deeply and realize it perfectly, no matter what anyone says," and added, "I am very happy that all of them can gather again. Please also look forward to the performances of the luxurious guests who will work in harmony with them in each episode." It will be released in Korea in 2027.
