TWICE’s Nayeon opened an individual YouTube channel. To promote her own channel, she personally handed rice cakes to JYP employees. Yesterday (the 24th), on the YouTube channel “IM NAYEON,” footage was released showing Nayeon visiting the JYP building to announce her personal YouTube channel and directly handing out songpyeon (rice cakes eaten during Chuseok).迎ing Chuseok (Chuseok: a Korean holiday equivalent to Japan’s Obon), Nayeon, dressed in hanbok (Korean traditional clothing), said, “Today I came to JYP to hand out rice cakes as an announcement of the opening of my personal YouTube channel. I’m going to put on stickers and go hand them out.” After that, while going around the building, she greeted people by saying, “Hello, please subscribe to my channel a lot. Please have a wonderful holiday.” She also visited JYP’s cafeteria and cafe. In particular, in the cafeteria, there was a banner announcing the opening of Nayeon’s YouTube channel, and when Nayeon learned about it, she shyly said, “Take it down quickly,” drawing laughter. The staff said things like “You are very pretty” to Nayeon, and Nayeon also spent an enjoyable time taking selfies with the staff’s mobile phones.
