Hwasa of MAMAMOO attracted attention with comments suggesting a breakup after reports of her passionate love with a businessman 12 years older. On the 22nd, during the SBS Power FM 'Cultwo Show', Hwasa, who made a comeback with her new song 'Good Goodbye', appeared as a guest alongside comedian Hong Yun-hwa, with fan Choi Yeol serving as a special DJ. On this day, Hwasa introduced her new song 'Good Goodbye', in which she directly participated in the lyrics and composition, as a 'Hwasa-style ballad'. She explained, 'It means a good farewell, but when I first made the song, many people said, 'Is there really such a thing as a good farewell?' or 'I have never experienced a good farewell, so I don't know.' She further revealed, 'After releasing this song, many people positively received the message, saying, 'I have never experienced a good farewell, but I feel like I understand it a little.' In response, Cultwo's Kim Tae-kyun asked, 'Have you ever experienced a good farewell? Is there such a thing as a good farewell between lovers?' After thinking for a while, Hwasa unexpectedly confessed, 'I seem to have.' Upon hearing this, Kim Tae-kyun agreed with Hwasa's opinion, saying, 'I think it's possible. There may be lovers who love each other but feel stressed. In that case, it might be better to break up.' Previously, it was reported that Hwasa has been dating a businessman 12 years older for five years in 2023. At that time, her agency commented, 'It's difficult to confirm as it's the artist's private matter.' However, this year, Hwasa appeared on Park Na-rae's YouTube channel 'Naraeshik' and, along with models Han Hye-jin and others, mentioned, 'Aren't we all three single now?' suggesting a de facto breakup.
