In October, the satellite theater has a wealth of variety shows featuring SM idols like SUPER JUNIOR, SHINee, EXO, and Red Velvet! The dramas 'Joseon Lawyer' and 'Shining Watermelon - The Love Song Connecting Us' will start. There will also be encore broadcasts of concerts from ATEEZ and N.Flying. Starting on the 20th is 'Buddy Boys' featuring 2PM's Nickhun, CNBLUE's Kang Min-hyuk, SUPER JUNIOR's Leeteuk & Shindong, and Baekho (NU'EST). The five, known for their love of golf, embark on a luxurious golf trip across Korea, Thailand, and Laos! They enjoy golf, local cuisine, and visit Korean spots, indulging in an adult male trip. The five head to Ulsan to earn funds for their Thailand trip by challenging a golf match. In Thailand, Nickhun competes against a local female pro golfer. Don't miss the sightseeing tour Nickhun hosts. Starting on the 10th is 'Red Velvet's LEVEL UP Project Season 5', the fifth installment of the popular travel show featuring the girl group Red Velvet. This time, the theme is 'Friendship Level Up', and the five head to Jeju Island together. In the car driven by Irene, they sing, chat, and keep their spirits high. They deepen their friendship through go-karting, hula dancing, chatting, and 'drinking parties'. The moments where they share their thoughts on their 9th anniversary are heartwarming! Starting on the 2nd is 'Cheongdam Key-chin', a cooking show planned by SHINee's Key. In a homely setting resembling a living room, Key prepares meals tailored to his guests and chats while eating together. The first guest is SUPER JUNIOR-D&E (Donghae & Eunhyuk). As idols in their 11th year, they offer advice on how to approach 'music' to Key, a former senior from their agency. In the 6th episode, SHINee's Minho appears, showcasing a hearty appetite typical of 'Moppangdol' (a show where idols eat deliciously). Other SM family members like Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and BoA will also appear. EXO's variety show 'EXO's Amida World Travel' starts its Namhae edition. This time, Suho, Xiumin, D.O., Kai, and Sehun travel to nature-rich Namhae in Gyeongsangnam-do. During the broadcast, they were celebrating their 10th debut anniversary. They were deeply moved by congratulatory messages from industry seniors and juniors. A debate about 'perilla leaf' arises during a meal, and they try paragliding and experience part-time jobs. This laughter-filled trip is a must-see. Other shows like 'Changmin and Minho's Buddy, Birdie' and 'THE BOYZ's Timeout' will air all episodes in a month, so don't miss them! Two new dramas are starting: 'Joseon Lawyer', set in the Joseon era, features Hanse, a seasoned external knowledge department (modern-day lawyer), who challenges the powerful to avenge his parents. Woo Do-hwan plays the protagonist Hanse, who is usually a joker but fights for the weak, showcasing a range of acting skills. The romance with the heroine, who hides her identity as a princess while living as a commoner, and the psychological battle with the head of the court, Jisung, played by VIXX's N, is captivating. The second drama, 'Shining Watermelon - The Love Song Connecting Us', starts on the 18th. It tells the story of a boy raised by deaf parents who time-travels to 1995 and forms a band with his father, who was a high school student at the time. Written by the screenwriter of 'The Moon Embracing the Sun', the fantasy youth romance features Ryu Won as the time-traveling Ungyeol and Choi Hyun-wook as his father, Ichang. The friendship (actually a parent-child love) between Ungyeol and Ichang, and Ichang's romance with Ungyeol's mother, encapsulate the joys and sorrows of their brightest years, guaranteed to bring tears every episode. The retro world view sprinkled with mid-90s pop culture is also emotional. This month, ATEEZ and N.Flying's concerts will be aired. ATEEZ, who gained recognition at events like Coachella and SUMMER SONIC 2024, will have their 2021 online concert 'ATEEZ XR SHOW [FEVER: eXtended edition]' and its behind-the-scenes footage aired consecutively. The live show, utilizing online technology, is sure to be impressive. Watching the special footage featuring backstage and member interviews will deepen your understanding of the concert's world. N.Flying, following in the footsteps of K-bands like FTISLAND and CNBLUE, will have three of their solo concerts from 2019, 2020, and 2023 aired. Their first hall live in Japan, 'N.Flying 2019 1st Hall Live in Japan', showcased a variety of songs including J-POP covers. The 'N.Flying SH&HS ZEPP LIVE 2023 “HOWLING”' featuring twin vocals is sure to heat things up!
