McDonald's Japan Co., Ltd. will broadcast a new TV commercial titled 'Blue Donation Box' (30 seconds) featuring the popular boy group RIIZE, which made its Japanese debut in September this year, from October 6 (Sunday) to promote the charity event 'Blue Mac Day' to be held on October 20 (Sunday) at McDonald's stores nationwide, aimed at supporting children facing illness and their families through the Ronald McDonald House. On 'Blue Mac Day' (Mac Happy Day), for each Happy Meal purchased at McDonald's nationwide, 50 yen will be donated by McDonald's to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan (hereinafter referred to as DMHC), which operates the Ronald McDonald House. In preparation for October 20 (Sunday), McDonald's stores will be decorated in blue, the theme color supporting DMHC, with blue balloons and POP displays, and will provide limited edition blue takeout bags. Additionally, leading up to 'Blue Mac Day', the new TV commercial will air starting October 6 (Sunday). The commercial begins with a scene of a girl visiting a McDonald's store decorated in blue. Following the music she hears, she peeks into a donation box and finds RIIZE performing live. Noticing the RIIZE members waving at her, she smiles back. After making her donation, she turns around to find the RIIZE members enjoying a meal together! The heartwarming interaction between RIIZE and the girl is a highlight. McDonald's aims to elevate 'Blue Mac Day' more than ever before, delivering greater support to children facing illness and their families. The most important aspect of McDonald's social contribution is ensuring that all children who will shape the future can smile. As part of this, they support the smiles of children facing illness. McDonald's will continue to contribute to society through such activities while providing products that allow for richer meal times. ◆ New CM 'Blue Donation Box' (15 seconds) ◆ New CM 'Blue Donation Box' (30 seconds) ◆ RIIZE Interview - Please share your thoughts after filming the CM.
