'SCOOL' announced the beginning of fierce competition. On October 5, SBS M and SBS FiL's new boy group survival program 'SCOOL' aired in Korea, showcasing the entrance ceremony and the trainees gathered from around the world. The day's stage began with performances from global trainees. Lai Lai and Neo performed 'Monster' by Red Velvet, marking the start of the cruel rule of 'elimination.' After two new trainees joined the top 7 who could sit in the Dream Squad, six trainees appeared next, performing 'Shine' by PENTAGON. The trainees showed insufficient skills, with mentors FTISLAND's Lee Hongki and Choi Youngjun harshly criticizing them, saying, 'It feels like they joined because someone told them to,' 'There was no enthusiasm,' and 'Only visuals were good,' and none could enter the Dream Squad. Next, in the stage for BOYNEXTDOOR's 'One and Only,' Victor, who dreamed after seeing SUPER JUNIOR's Eunhyuk, and Wien Shin, who was active in the group Popcorn, were chosen for the Dream Squad. The final stage of the global trainees featured four, including Chiwon, who placed second in a Taiwanese audition program, and Meishan, a former badminton player. They performed 'Bite Me' by ENHYPEN and received praise from mentors. Chiwon and Meishan, selected with the evaluation 'I think they were the best among today's participants,' took the seats of Dream Squad's Ryan and Diom. Among the Korean trainees, various attractive trainees appeared, including Louis from Seven O'clock, Lee Seungmin, who specializes in girl group dances, and Lee Dongun, an 'acoustic idol.' Mentors debated whether to judge by the same standards as global trainees or apply higher standards according to the K-training system. Louis proved his excellent skills with a stage of Jessi's 'ZOOM' and was chosen for the Dream Squad. Following that, stages of Korean trainees included EXO's Kai's 'Rover' and an acoustic version of TWICE's 'Dance The Night Away.' Despite unstable pitches and insufficient dance skills, except for Chang Louis, no one was selected for the Dream Squad. However, they received positive evaluations like 'The mindset of wanting to learn is good' and 'The combination was good, and we enjoyed it together,' showing potential for growth. Of the seven Dream Squad spots, six were occupied by global trainees, and Korean trainees, who RIIZE fell for, appeared, hinting at new developments. Expectations are high for the performances of Bae Usol and Bae Juno, the protagonists of the trending 'Get A Guitar' cover video. Attention is focused on who will ultimately be selected for the Dream Squad in the entrance ceremony.
