Actor Kang Dong-won expressed his desire for V from BTS to participate in a dance challenge. On the morning of the 7th, a production report for the movie 'Wild Thing' was held at Lotte Cinema in Gwangjin District, Seoul. Present were lead actors Kang Dong-won, Ohm Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, Oh Jung-se, and director Song Jae-gon. The film is a comedy about a mixed dance group called 'Triangle' that once dominated the music scene but disbanded overnight due to an unexpected incident. They take on a reckless challenge to seize a chance for a comeback after 20 years. Kang Dong-won plays Hyun, the dance machine leader of Triangle, who boasts an overwhelming aura and visuals that seem to have jumped out of a comic. Ohm Tae-goo plays the youngest member, Sang, a rapper with undeniable swagger, while Park Ji-hyun plays Domi, the center of Triangle, radiating refreshing energy and absolute charm, showcasing unpredictable chemistry. Oh Jung-se takes on the role of Song-gon, a self-proclaimed 'eardrum boyfriend' and ballad singer, injecting delightful energy into the story with his exceptional comedic performance. When asked which idol he would like to see take on the dance challenge, Kang Dong-won humorously mentioned BTS, saying, 'It would be an honor if anyone did it, but I suddenly remembered BTS... (laughs).' Oh Jung-se added that he would be grateful if Park Kyung-rim or Song Si-kyung, who hosts the eardrum boyfriend's program, participated. Following the release of Triangle's music video and audio, netizens expressed their desire to see the three perform on stage as a promise of a hit. Kang Dong-won stated, 'I think it would be disrespectful to the singers for us to take the stage. We don't have that level of skill.' He also mentioned that it has been over a year since filming ended, and he has forgotten the choreography, although he can remember parts of it. He confessed that while he worked hard on the film, he also gained respect for idols, saying, 'That’s the truth. One reason I worked hard was that the profession of an actor represents someone and expresses emotions to the audience. I wanted to convey the struggles of singers. It was very hard, and there was a lot to prepare for.' The movie 'Wild Thing' is set to be released in South Korea on June 3.
