SEVENTEEN's Dokyum & Seungkwan have released an additional music video for "Blue" set against the snowy fields of Hokkaido. Pledis Entertainment announced yesterday (19th) that they released the epilogue version of the music video for the title track "Blue" from Dokyum & Seungkwan's 1st mini album "Serenade" through their official channel. While the previously released cinema version showed the scene of lovers on the verge of breaking up through the passionate performances of Lee Yumi and Noh Sanghyun, this music video features Dokyum and Seungkwan portraying two men suffering from the speed of love that passes by in different situations. Dokyum expresses a man who regrets after leaving his lover, with a deep loneliness emanating from him as he clutches a phone with no response and a car that has stopped. Seungkwan, on the other hand, conveys the sense of loss after sending off his loved one, with a sorrowful gaze that reflects his feelings. The snowy fields of Hokkaido, Japan, amplify the winter sensibility of "Blue" and enhance immersion. Each item appearing in the music video, such as graffiti left on the car window, a lost glove, and a toothbrush and slippers without an owner, vividly brings out the theme of the song, "love with different paces." Since its release, "Blue" has steadily climbed the ranks on Korean YouTube's "Trending Music" and has finally reached number one, showcasing the power of a classic ballad. The perfect harmony of Dokyum & Seungkwan performed on various music program stages and the vocal challenge involving diverse artists have spread through word of mouth. A "DKSK Karaoke" video that allows viewers to sing along to "Blue" was also released on the 19th and has received positive feedback. The sound and visuals faithfully recreate the karaoke atmosphere, stimulating viewers' desire to participate. Recently, a "Duet Challenge" to create harmony with Dokyum & Seungkwan has gained attention on social media, and continued fan participation is expected.
