On the 5th, they held a fan party 'VIBE ALIVE: Chill Moments' at Seoul Women's University Auditorium to celebrate the release of their 1st mini-album 'HYPE VIBES', igniting excitement for the new album. The event was themed around expressing the warm and free atmosphere of the album in reality, featuring live performances and a talk corner. From the start, S.COUPS and Mingyu's free-spirited charm filled the venue as they sang the title track '5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)' while interacting with fans. Every high-five exchanged with fans elicited enthusiastic cheers. In the following talk segment, member Seungkwan made a surprise appearance as a special MC, perfectly supporting the event. He expressed pride in the album's music and quality, stating he wanted to contribute to the fan party's progression. S.COUPS and Mingyu, who led the overall production of the mini-album, candidly shared behind-the-scenes stories related to its creation. They reflected, 'We couldn't let go of our desire for the new album. Even if it led to regrets, we wanted to trust ourselves and follow our choices,' adding that 'every moment spent making the album was colorful.' Additionally, various fun segments like 'CARAT POLL' predicting popular songs, 'CARAT INSIDE' to understand fan sentiments, and 'ASK & ANSWER' added to the enjoyment. Towards the end of the fan party, they premiered live stages of the new album tracks 'For you' and 'Fiesta'. They interacted closely with fans, who responded with singing and enthusiastic support, elevating the atmosphere to its peak. S.COUPS and Mingyu stated, 'Our activities are not over yet. We hope you enjoy the diverse content that will continue to come out,' raising expectations for future activities. After releasing their 1st mini-album 'HYPE VIBES' on the 29th of last month, they have been continuing a 'hit whirlwind' both domestically and internationally. The album topped the HANTEO chart's daily album chart on the day of release and broke the record for the highest initial sales for a K-POP unit album within the first week. It also ranked first in Japan's Oricon daily album ranking and in the daily and weekly charts of the 'Digital Best Seller Album' EP category on China's largest music platform. SEVENTEEN is also energetically engaged in activities, with their 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN U.S.' starting on the 11th in Tacoma, followed by performances in Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise, and Washington D.C. S.COUPS and Mingyu also released a music video for the title track '5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman)' showcasing their vibrant charm and appeared on the cover of the 20th-anniversary issue of 'HYPEBEAST', highlighting their charisma.
