Amid suspicions that a web variety content appearance by i-dle’s Miyeon violated the Medical Service Act, the competent health authority formally requested the police to investigate the case. As the controversy spread, the production team of 'The Evangelist' issued an official statement and denied the allegations. They said, 'The production team paid for the performer’s health checkup and medical expenses.
