Two trending brands from Korea, "Jongnanmimyeongga" and "Lolo Mallo," will make their first debut at Daimaru Kobe from Wednesday, October 14 to Tuesday, October 20. The Korean-born sweet bread brand "Jongnanmimyeongga" is also drawing major attention in Japan. Its unique appearance, which looks just like real vegetables and fruits, is its defining feature, and the inside uses Korean glutinous rice flour to create a chewy texture. The brand is also particular about its ingredients, and its appeal lies in flavors that make the most of gentle sweetness and aroma. The sweet potato bread looks exactly like a sweet potato. From the purple skin to the golden cross-section, it is realistically reproduced. Inside is generously filled with sweet potato paste that concentrates natural sweetness and a fluffy texture. The fragrance of the dough made with glutinous rice further enhances the flavor, and with each bite, the rich depth of sweet potato spreads throughout the mouth. The green onion bread has a softly fragrant green onion flavor, and the chopped green onions and cream cheese match exquisitely in this savory-style taste. The aroma of green onion is strong, but not overpowering, and it is refreshing; combined with the rich cream cheese, it becomes an easy-to-eat flavor. The popular Korean dessert brand "Lolo Mallo" is a brand that has been attracting attention with items such as "Dubai mochi cookies," which are trending worldwide on social media and as souvenirs and walking-around sweets. You can enjoy satisfying chewy sweets in various flavors, where chewiness, crispness, sweetness, and fragrance overlap. The Dubai mochi cookie is wrapped in a thin, chewy marshmallow that generously encloses rich pistachio paste and fragrant, crispy kadaif. The mellow sweetness, the deep richness of pistachio, and the crispy texture of the kadaif harmonize perfectly. The hazelnut Dubai mochi cookie is wrapped in a thin, chewy marshmallow that generously encloses rich hazelnut paste and fragrantly baked kadaif. When you take a bite, the rich aroma and mellow depth unique to hazelnuts spread, and the crispy texture of the kadaif becomes a pleasant accent. IVE's Rei-pick "Mini Dubai mochi cookie" is a bite-sized Dubai mochi cookie packed with rich pistachio paste and crispy kadaif inside chewy marshmallow. It is also appealing because you can easily enjoy the richness and mellow sweetness of pistachio in one bite.
