RIIZE has made a comeback with their new single "Fame." On the 24th at 6 PM, RIIZE released their 2nd single "Fame" through various music distribution sites and unveiled the music video for the title track "Fame." The title track "Fame" is a rage-style hip-hop that RIIZE has challenged for the first time, expressing RIIZE's ideal as an "emotional pop artist." The message conveyed is that what we truly seek is the sharing of emotions and love rather than fame, showcasing a high-level performance that combines a sense of ease with explosive power. This work includes an R&B pop song "Something's in the Water," which hints at accepting the insecurities felt during growth as part of oneself, and a pop-rock dance song "Sticky Like" that tells a pure love story with RIIZE's unique sensibility and power, totaling three tracks. -- What was your impression when you first heard the title track "Fame"? Also, how would you like listeners to hear it? Shotaro: It felt new because it’s a style RIIZE hasn’t done before. It has a cool and free feeling! I want everyone to enjoy it as “the new style of RIIZE.” And I definitely recommend watching the performance together! Eunsook: At first, I thought it was a bit dark yet powerful. If I had to express it in one word, it would be “inner.” I hope everyone listening to this song can reconsider what is most important to them. -- What part of the title track "Fame" do you like the most? Seongchan: If I had to choose the part that resonated with me the most, it would be the part where Sohee sings, "I just seek deep, rich love." I think Sohee's voice expresses the emotions in the lyrics well, which made it even better. Wonbin: There’s a lyric that says, "Now that you’re looking at me, how are you?" I often ask BRIIZE (RIIZE's fans) that, so it stuck with me. -- Please share your honest thoughts about "Fame." What do you think true "Fame" is? Sohee: It’s something you have to earn by being your true self. That’s what makes it meaningful. And it’s something you can’t achieve alone. Anton: Of course, I think "Fame" is important. However, I chose this path because I want to live for my dreams and myself. If I do that, "Fame" will come along with it. It’s still a mystery to me that I get to spend time with wonderful members in a wonderful group called RIIZE and that more and more people are getting to know us. I want to keep moving toward my dreams. The title track "Fame" expresses that love is more important than "Fame." For me, that "love" is BRIIZE, music, family, the group, and myself. I believe everyone listening to this song can find their own meaning. -- What are the highlights of the performance for "Fame"? Also, if you were to rank the difficulty of the three songs "Fame," "Fly Up," and "Siren," how would you do it? Shotaro: I think everyone is curious, but the difficulty of the performance is in the order of "Fame," "Siren," "Fly Up." It was difficult to utilize the hip-hop groove in "Fame" and not miss a single sound. I think the movements in the chorus are also quite complex. The final dance break was something I thought was “amazing.” Please look forward to it! Wonbin: The final dance break part is literally the “end.” I think the order of difficulty is "Fame," "Fly Up," "Siren." "Siren" is simpler and slower compared to "Fame." -- When would you recommend listening to the tracks "Something's in the Water" and "Sticky Like"? Seongchan: If I were to imagine a day in BRIIZE's life, I think it would be good to listen to "Something's in the Water" at night while looking at the stars and preparing to sleep, and "Sticky Like" in the morning when starting the day. Anton: I’m the opposite of Seongchan (laughs). How about starting the day with "Something's in the Water" and listening to "Sticky Like" on the way home? -- When filming the trailer or music video for "Fame," what scene did you think looked cool even when you watched it yourself? Also, what were you thinking the most during the recording? Eunsook: The car at the trailer shoot was classical and cool. Honestly, I thought every scene shot next to that car looked cool. In "Fame," there’s a part where I rap in a low voice. It was difficult to utilize that style, which I haven’t done much, but I felt I grew from it. Sohee: When recording, I tried to not think about anything. I eliminated thoughts that wouldn’t help with the recording and tried to relax. In the music video for "Fame," I think the outro dance break part is the coolest. -- Please share your thoughts on the new single release and a message to BRIIZE. Shotaro: After "ODYSSEY," it’s been a while since we made a comeback, but thank you so much for waiting, BRIIZE! This time, I wanted to show a new side of myself and felt I had to respond to BRIIZE's love, so I worked hard to prepare. Please support “NEW RIIZE” a lot! Eunsook: RIIZE has returned with "Fame" in a different atmosphere after a long time, and while preparing with the members, I felt it was new and interesting this time. I would be happy if BRIIZE, who will soon meet "Fame," enjoys it. Seongchan: BRIIZE! Through the activities of "Fame," I think you will discover not only my new side but also RIIZE's new side, so I would be happy if you support us a lot. I was happy this year thanks to BRIIZE. Let’s make more memories together next year. Thank you always! Wonbin: I’m excited to showcase a new song unique to RIIZE again, and I’m curious about the reactions. I hope you like it since we worked hard to prepare it… Love to (라이즈 브리즈 뜬다) Keep going~~! Sohee: I want you to understand that BRIIZE is the most important thing! I seek only BRIIZE to the extent that I would give everything. Anton: BRIIZE! I’m happy to greet you with a new look again, and I’m nervous! Thank you for always watching over RIIZE and being a source of strength. I hope this song becomes a gift for BRIIZE! Let’s finish 2025 healthy and happy, and let’s run together until the end!
