NCT's Yuta has achieved his long-awaited solo debut in Japan. On the 3rd at 6 PM, Yuta's Japanese solo debut album "Depth" was released, and the music video for the title track "Off The Mask" was also unveiled. It consists of seven rock-style songs overflowing with his personality. The title track "Off The Mask" is a rock-based song with impressive diverse sounds, featuring splendid guitar, shouts, and a tense string performance in the latter half, with lyrics conveying a message of challenging what you want to do without hesitation and fully showing your true self that you have hidden. Additionally, there is "LAST SONG," which combines a message of moving forward together while discarding the past with beautiful piano melodies and poignant vocals, "Save You," which has lyrics about breaking free from constraints and features screaming guitar sounds and shouting vocals, and "BAD EUPHORIA," which harmonizes addictive guitar riffs with a lively melody line in the chorus. Other tracks include "PRISONER," which encourages believing in oneself even in distorted love, and "Goodbye," which expresses the bittersweet feeling of saying goodbye despite love. The lyrics of "Butterfly (Depth Ver.)" encourage flying into the desired world and is a rock arrangement version of his solo song performed during NCT 127's second tour, offering a new charm. Furthermore, Yuta will hold the "YUTA Solo Debut Showcase Tour~HOPE~" in five Japanese cities, starting in Fukuoka on October 5-6, Hyogo on 9-10, Aichi on the 13th, Tokyo on 17-18, and Osaka on 26-27, with a total of nine performances. The shows recorded full sell-outs, proving his high popularity in Japan.
