The Love's Real Social Welfare Joint Fund announced today (8th), 'In commemoration of S.COUPS's birthday (August 8th), he donated 50 million yen (about 500 million yen) for children from low-income households.' With this donation, he became the 3710th member of the Honor Society, a club for high-value donors who have donated over 100 million won (about 10 million yen) or promised equivalent donations within five years. The donation will be used, at S.COUPS's request, to support meal expenses for children who are likely to lack food during the summer vacation period. It will support the healthy growth of underprivileged children, mainly through regional children's centers nationwide. He stated, 'Thanks to the love of my fans, every birthday is remembered as a special day. I wanted to give back a little of the love I received to society.' He added, 'I support the healthy growth of all children and youth.' He has been continuously involved in various charitable activities, including child welfare and animal protection, and has made multiple donations to shelters and rescue organizations, supporting medical expenses and rescuing abused animals. Additionally, he has continued to donate during disasters, including relief funds for the wildfires that occurred in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam in March, demonstrating his positive influence. SEVENTEEN is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and is engaged in various activities. Their 5th full album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY,' released in May, ranked first in the CIRCLE chart's first-half album rankings, and the title track 'THUNDER' also topped the MelOn Top 100, proving their popularity. Starting in September, they plan to meet fans worldwide through the 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_],' which will continue to Hong Kong, North America, Japan, and more.
