SEVENTEEN's Jun challenges himself with a fantasy comedy historical drama. Today (18th), according to Pledis Entertainment, Jun plays the role of Mun Liangjin in the Chinese drama '云归喜事', which started filming on the 15th. '云归喜事' is the second installment of the drama series based on the Chinese web novel '唐砖' and will be released on the Chinese OTT platform iQIYI. It depicts the story of people overcoming hardships in pursuit of justice and love. The first installment, '大唐見聞録 皇国への使者', received a great response when it was released in 2018, topping iQIYI's popularity charts and Weibo's real-time popular web drama chart. Mun Liangjin, played by Jun, is a character making his debut in this season. After delivering the youthful charm as the protagonist in last year's web drama '独占おとぎ話', attention is on how he will showcase his appeal in the new work '云归喜事'. At the drama's crank-in event, he shared, 'Acting in a historical drama is a new challenge for me,' and expressed his determination to perform well and show a satisfying portrayal through hard work.
