Four former members of this month's girl group (LOONA) won a lawsuit against their former agency. Star News reported today (20th) that the Seoul Northern District Court ruled in favor of Hyejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Cherry in a civil lawsuit confirming the non-existence of the exclusive contract worth 200 million won (approximately 22 million yen) that they brought against Blockberry Creative. The lawsuit was filed in March 2023, but Blockberry Creative did not respond at the time. They later responded, starting the first trial in December 2023. The trial proceeded twice and has now concluded. Last year, they already won a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative for the suspension of the exclusive contract and transferred to Modhaus, debuting as a five-member group ARTMS with Hasul. After LOONA debuted in 2018, member Chuu left the group due to conflicts with the agency, and other members also filed lawsuits against Blockberry Creative, leading to them working under different agencies. Hyunjin, Yojin, Vivi, Gowon, and Heejoo (Olivia Hye) redebuted as Lossemble, while Eve signed an exclusive contract with PAIX PER MIL for a solo debut.
