They added, "After recognizing this issue, we held discussions with QWER and requested design changes, but we did not reach a final conclusion." They expressed, "We sincerely apologize for not being able to respond quickly to the controversy, and we will work closely with relevant organizations to respond firmly, including all legal measures, to ensure that such incidents do not occur again." They also stated, "We will pay more careful attention to ensure that the important symbol built together by THE BOYZ and fans is not taken lightly in the future, and we will continue to listen to the voices of fans and take more cautious and responsible actions." Prior to this, QWER had recently unveiled the design of their penlight ahead of a world tour, which was pointed out to be similar to THE BOYZ's official penlight design.
