AB6IX has made a comeback with their 10th EP "UPSIDE DOWN." This 10th EP "UPSIDE DOWN" contains a strong will to break existing frameworks and turn the world upside down with a unique perspective and music that is characteristic of AB6IX. The title track "STUPID" is a pop dance number that expresses an inner cry that sprouts from wounds that have been turned away from, with a lively rock sound, written and composed by Lee Dae-hwi, with Park Woo-jin also participating in the lyrics, further enhancing the song's completeness. Jung Eun: I can't believe it's already the 10th EP; time really flies. I want to show the more grown-up side of AB6IX that is fitting for the 10th! Kim Dong-hyun: I'm a bit nervous since it's been a while since our last comeback, but I'm really excited to deliver a wonderful stage and music to our fans! Park Woo-jin: It's been a while since our last comeback, and I want to express my gratitude to our fans for waiting for us. I will work hard to show an even better version of ourselves for those who waited. Lee Dae-hwi: We finally made our comeback. We actually planned to deliver it sooner, but it got delayed while we were choosing better songs. I truly appreciate being able to meet our fans again after a long time and I'm really looking forward to it. -- What kind of song is the title track "STUPID"? Lee Dae-hwi: It's a dance number with a band sound perfect for summer nights. I think the lyrics are relatable, and I hope it brings healing to those who listen. -- What are the highlights of the performance for "STUPID"? Park Woo-jin: I think the performance is very accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Through this stage, I believe you will see the diverse charms of each member! -- The title track "STUPID" carries a message of comforting those who are hurt. Do you have your own way of overcoming wounds? Kim Dong-hyun: If it's my own mistake, I acknowledge it honestly and switch gears; if it's an unfair situation, I face it head-on and try to overcome it. -- The members participated in the songwriting and composition of the title track and included songs in the album, enhancing its completeness. What part did you focus on in this album? Jung Eun: Since "STUPID" is a refreshing and fun song, we made sure the choreography has a playful vibe! Kim Dong-hyun: I put more love into the recording of each song than ever before to prepare for the stage. Park Woo-jin: As always, I did my best for those who listen. I worked hard to express what is in my heart to get closer emotionally. Lee Dae-hwi: The part I was most particular about this time was, of course, the music. Everything starts with music, so it must be good. I am confident that the songs included this time each have their own charm. -- Please tell us about a song in "UPSIDE DOWN" that you have a special attachment to and what to focus on when listening to it. Jung Eun: The fifth song, "You Are in My Plan," is one I wrote the lyrics and composed. I've produced many songs, but when I finished this one, I felt, "I did well!" and it was very rewarding. I hope people love this song a lot. Lee Dae-hwi: Of course, I have an attachment to the title track, but the sixth song, "Beautiful," is one that I think will remain in the memories of our fans and us for a long time, so I have the most attachment to it. I hope it becomes a song that reminds us of this activity in the distant future. -- After actively engaging in solo activities in various fields, we are now returning to group activities after about 10 months. Were there any particularly memorable episodes or moments during the album preparation process? Kim Dong-hyun: The music video was filmed in a slightly different new way than before, so it felt strange but was fun to shoot. Park Woo-jin: There weren't any big episodes, but since I'm more accustomed to group activities than solo ones, I was able to approach it relaxedly, and I think it went smoothly as usual. -- What kind of image of AB6IX do you want to show through this album?
