The Disney official video distribution service 'Disney+' will exclusively stream the documentary '<JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL> THE ORIGINAL' featuring BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) youngest member, Jungkook, starting December 3 (Tuesday). This fall, it was an unprecedented hit upon theatrical release, and it will soon be exclusively streamed on Disney+. The documentary closely follows Jungkook during the approximately 8-month period of his solo single 'Seven' and the activities for his latest album 'GOLDEN', traveling around the world including New York, London, and Seoul, capturing his 'golden moments'! It delves into how he continued to strive and challenge himself to become a 'global pop star', revealing the hidden struggles and the precious behind-the-scenes moments. The exclusive 'complete original version' on Disney+ includes the theatrical version of 'JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL' along with the full version of 'JUNG KOOK 'GOLDEN' Live On Stage' featuring 6 unreleased songs. Additionally, it includes about 55 minutes of valuable never-before-seen footage such as interviews, rehearsal scenes for the surprise performance in front of Times Square in New York, and MV shooting scenes with Usher! Fans can enjoy Jungkook's performances and songs, as well as rare glimpses of him that are usually not seen, right at the front row on Disney+. The released trailer captures glamorous stage moments, rehearsal scenes, and his genuine expressions offstage. It starts with him looking down from above at a crowded venue, saying, 'I suddenly got nervous. I will do my best today,' motivating himself. Although Jungkook has had a smooth solo career with hits like 'Seven', '3D', and 'Standing Next to You', he expresses his anxiety about whether he can be recognized by people through his own power, not as part of BTS. The documentary gives a glimpse of the immense pressure he faces behind the glamorous stage. In an interview, he states, 'I am not a genius. Definitely not. I look at my shortcomings and work harder,' showing that even as a 'global pop star', he never forgets to strive and challenge himself, expressing gratitude to his fans, the ARMY, for giving him confidence. Scenes of him slumped on a chair or leaning against a wall are shown, but when he stands on stage, he delivers an overwhelming performance amidst the cheers of many ARMYs. At the end, after finishing his performance, he skips away happily, saying, 'It's fun because I have fans,' highlighting how significant the ARMY is to him. Expectations are high for this work that allows fans waiting for BTS's comeback to feel and enjoy Jungkook as a global artist. Also released is a poster capturing Jungkook's expression with a cool gaze, suggesting that the main feature will showcase various aspects of Jungkook, from his star persona to his true self, with sepia and monochrome processed photos in the background. ■ Streaming Information '<JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL> THE ORIGINAL' will start exclusively streaming on Disney+ from December 3 (Tuesday) (C) 2024 BRIGHT MUSIC & HYBE.
