Min Hee-jin made an unusual proposal to HYBE through an emergency press conference. Today (25th) afternoon, Min Hee-jin, former representative of ADOR and representative of ooak records, held a press conference at a certain location in Jongno District, Seoul. Earlier, on the 12th of this month, the 31st Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge Nam In-soo) ruled on the confirmation lawsuit regarding the termination of the shareholder agreement filed by HYBE against Min Hee-jin, and the lawsuit for the payment of stock sale proceeds filed by Min Hee-jin against HYBE, stating, 'The exercise of Min Hee-jin's put option is legitimate, and HYBE must pay Min Hee-jin 25.5 billion won (approximately 25 million yen).' At the press conference, Min Hee-jin stated, 'I want to convey that I have decided to exchange 25.6 billion won for another value. I believe 25.6 billion won is a large sum for many people. It is also valuable funding for me as I embark on a new start. However, I want to propose something meaningful to HYBE because I value something more than a huge amount of money.' She continued, 'The most pressing reason for my decision is the members of NewJeans. I propose to stop all ongoing civil and criminal lawsuits and suspend all disputes in exchange for giving up 25.6 billion won. This proposal includes not only myself but also the members of NewJeans, external partner companies, former ADOR staff, and the termination of all lawsuits and accusations directed at the fandom. Only when everything is resolved will there be no more indiscriminate noise affecting the artists, their families, and the fandom.' She addressed HYBE and Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, saying, 'Let's meet not in court, but in the creative space.' She added, 'Now I am removing the tag of former ADOR representative and am about to walk a new path as the representative of ooak records. From now on, I will devote all my energy to nurturing new artists who will represent the K-POP industry and to new business directions.'
ADOR has initiated a lawsuit seeking 43 billion won in damages from NewJeans' Daniel and Min Hee-jin. The initial court hearing is scheduled for the 26th. This follows a previous ruling where Min Hee-jin won against HYBE. ADOR claims Daniel's family is responsible for delays in NewJeans' comeback.

This decision follows a legal battle regarding her contract with ADOR, which has raised concerns among fans about consumer rights and the implications for future disputes in the industry.
The Korean Entertainment Management Association has officially addressed the controversy surrounding NewJeans, recognizing it as a serious issue that could undermine the trust within the Korean pop culture industry. The Seoul Central District Court has granted HYBE's request to suspend the enforcement of a payment ruling against Min Hee-jin, which was set at 25 billion won. This decision halts her request for a temporary seizure of HYBE's bank accounts. Min had previously filed for account seizure following a favorable ruling in her lawsuit against HYBE.
Min Heejin denied reports of meeting with Japanese investors regarding NewJeans, criticized media for spreading falsehoods, and announced legal actions against HYBE for contract violations. She won a court ruling requiring HYBE to pay her 25.5 billion won, leading HYBE to appeal the decision.
