The comedian Park Na-rae's 'Injection Aunt' has been subjected to a travel ban. On the 31st, according to reports from South Korean media, the Gangnam police station in Seoul imposed a travel ban on a person known as 'Injection Aunt', Mr. Lee, suspected of illegal medical practices and violations of medical laws. Mr. Lee is suspected of having performed illegal medical treatments and proxy prescriptions for Park Na-rae and SHINee's Key. Immediately after the controversy, Mr. Lee posted a photo wearing a doctor's gown, claiming to have become the first and youngest foreign professor at Mongolia's Pogang Medical University Hospital, but deleted it after being pointed out by the Korean Medical Association. The Seoul Western District Prosecutor's Office's Food and Drug Crime Investigation Department has been assigned to investigate the case in which former Korean Medical Association president Lim Hyun-taek reported Mr. Lee for suspected violations of medical laws. According to legal circles, if the so-called 'Injection Aunt' or 'IV Aunt' is confirmed to be a person without medical qualifications, it would constitute unlicensed medical practice under medical law in South Korea, which could result in imprisonment of up to five years or fines of up to 50 million won (approximately 500,000 USD).
