ME:I's COCORO, RAN, SHIZUKU, and KOKONA will end their activities within the year. Today (22nd), the agency announced through the official website that 'as of December 31, 2025, the exclusive management contract with LAPONE GIRLS will expire, and activities as ME:I will conclude.' COCORO paused activities in March this year to focus on treatment and rest. She debuted in January 2019 as a member of the girl group Cherry Bullet under FNC Entertainment but left the group in December of the same year. After that, she participated in the audition program 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS' where she realized her dream of re-debuting. RAN announced a break in July due to mental fatigue. She was selected as a debut member of ME:I through the program and is from the performance group Girls² under LDH JAPAN. Additionally, SHIZUKU paused activities in October due to 'an incident that violated the agency's regulations.' Shortly after the announcement, a scandal involving JO1 member Yoshio Ohira was reported. ME:I officially debuted in April 2024 and made their first appearance in the 'NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen' in December of the same year. They have also appeared on Korean music programs such as Mnet's 'M COUNTDOWN' and KBS's 'Music Bank' in April this year, expanding their activities. Moving forward, the group will continue with seven members: MOMONA, MIU, AYANE, KEIKO, RINON, SUZU, and TSUZUMI. • ME:I's SHIZUKU announces a pause in activities due to 'serious actions contrary to fan expectations.' • Former Cherry Bullet member COCORO and participants from 'Nizi Project' and 'Girls Planet' are also in the spotlight! Trainees from 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS' are gaining attention. 【Full text on ME:I's official site】 Report regarding COCORO, RAN, SHIZUKU, and KOKONA We sincerely thank you for your continued support of ME:I.
