J-HOPE of BTS's older sister, Jung Jiwoo, confessed to undergoing in vitro fertilization and experiencing a miscarriage. On the 4th, Jung Jiwoo posted a video titled 'Long time no see - Recent updates I couldn't talk about' on her YouTube channel. She stated, 'The most shocking and difficult news is actually about in vitro fertilization.' She expressed that it was a personal matter, and she hesitated to talk about it at first, but during the 5-6 months she took off from making videos, she spent time resting and adjusting her body and mind. She explained that due to excessive work and stress, she made the serious decision to proceed with IVF. She began IVF in November of last year and revealed that she had undergone her first transfer some time ago, but it did not succeed, resulting in a chemical miscarriage. She bravely stated that the first attempt ended with disappointing news, but she is recovering well and is healthy now. She mentioned that she tried to accept it calmly, as it is a very common occurrence, but it was difficult. However, she reassured everyone that she is doing fine now and is taking good care of her body. Jung Jiwoo, J-HOPE's older sister, is a YouTuber with 2.38 million subscribers and is active as a model, entrepreneur, and influencer. In the past, she appeared on MBC's 'I Live Alone' featuring J-HOPE and also appeared in the Netflix series 'The Influencer.' She got married in May 2021.
