The collaboration audio between BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Apple has been unveiled. THE BLACK LABEL, Rosé’s agency, released the new song “new trick” and its music video today (the 18th). This music video, produced as part of Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign, involved world-renowned director Dave Myers. In the video, Rosé creates a free and lively mood while running through open locations. Fresh color tones and energetic scenes harmonize to express the song’s light, brisk atmosphere. “new trick” is a song that contains the message of not wavering even in the wounds of life or the trials of love, overcoming them in one’s own way, and moving forward. Its garage-punk-specific rough and refreshing sound blends with Rosé’s musical color. The co-producers were Amy Allen, who worked together on Rosé’s global hit song “APT.,” and Andrew Wells, who also worked with her on “stay a little longer.” Director Dave Myers, who handled the music video’s direction, is a person who has collaborated with global artists such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Ariana Grande.
