BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) announced the holding of their largest scale world tour 'BTS WORLD TOUR' from 2026 to 2027. The Japan performance will be held at Tokyo Dome. This world tour is the first in about 4 years since 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' concluded in Las Vegas in 2022. The performance in Japan will be the first in about 7 years since 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF' - JAPAN EDITION' held in July 2019. This tour is currently scheduled for a total of 79 performances in 34 cities worldwide, making it the largest number of performances in the history of a single K-POP artist's tour, and it is expected to be the largest world tour in BTS's career. The tour will kick off with performances in Goyang, South Korea on April 9, 11, and 12, followed by 'BTS WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN' at Tokyo Dome on April 17 and 18. This tour will feature a 360-degree stage, enhancing the immersive live experience for the audience. Furthermore, it was revealed that additional performance dates in Japan and the Middle East will be added in 2027. There is growing attention on the potential for further expansion.
