The world’s largest youth-oriented music & entertainment channel, MTV, has decided to feature NCT DREAM as the ‘ARTIST OF THE MONTH’ for January 2026, in celebration of the release of their latest mini-album and their Japan tour. A special program including an original interview special titled ‘NCT DREAM Special -DREAM THE FUTURE-’ will be broadcast for one month. The ‘ARTIST OF THE MONTH’ is MTV’s monthly artist project that highlights one artist each month who is gaining attention both domestically and internationally, promoting their appeal through heavy rotation of music videos and special programs. For January 2026, the featured artist is NCT DREAM, who will release their sixth mini-album ‘Beat It Up’ on November 17, 2025, and will hold a nationwide tour ‘2025 NCT DREAM TOUR <THE DREAM SHOW 4: DREAM THE FUTURE> in JAPAN’ from November 2025 to January 2026. The program will also air a special feature that includes an exclusive interview recorded shortly after their debut in Japan in 2023, along with a compilation of their historical music videos. Additionally, a newly filmed interview special ‘NCT DREAM Special -DREAM THE FUTURE-’ will also be broadcast. In November of this year, just before their Japan tour, they will conduct a joint interview with MTV and the music magazine ‘ぴあMUSIC COMPLEX (PMC)’, featuring a long interview that delves into the production secrets of their mini-album ‘Beat It Up’ and their outlook for 2026.
