The girl group izna has made a comeback as a 6-member group. izna was formed through the Mnet audition program 'I-LAND2' last year as a 7-member group. Three months after their debut, main vocalist Yoon Ji-yoon paused activities due to health reasons and prioritized recovery, but ultimately announced her departure last month. Now, they will be active as a 6-member group with Mai, Bang Jimin, Coco, Yoo Sarang, Choi Jeong-eun, and Jeong Se-bi. Today (30th), at the showcase for their 2nd mini-album 'Not Just Pretty' held at Seoul YES24 Live Hall, Yoo Sarang spoke about Yoon Ji-yoon, saying, 'We support each other's paths. We sang each song with love. Please look forward to this activity as well.' This album includes a total of 5 songs. The title track 'Mamma Mia' is composed with a minimal beat and features an addictive sound. It boldly declares 'I will become myself' while not succumbing to public scrutiny and trusting one's own instincts. The song maximizes explosive energy with a strong hook, soaring melody, and groovy rhythm. TEDDY is once again in charge of production. Currently, his songs are dominating the global market, including the Netflix animated film 'KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters' and the rookie mixed-gender group ALLDAY PROJECT. Bang Jimin stated, 'We usually enjoy listening to TEDDY's songs and feel their popularity. We talked a lot about becoming better artists by performing the songs he gave us well. We want to be proud artists as a good driving force.' The absence of the main vocalist has led to a change in concept. They focused on performance and introduced a more sophisticated concept. Choi Jeong-eun mentioned, 'I heard that this song requires us to sing with confidence rather than just being cute, so I worked hard.' Yoo Sarang commented on the change in concept, saying, 'I wanted to show a new side that we haven't shown before. I wanted to show an unlimited appearance rather than sticking to one concept.' The 2nd mini-album 'Not Just Pretty' was released today (30th) at 6 PM.
