The sudden announcement of Heeseung's departure from ENHYPEN has caused a ripple effect. On the 10th, ENHYPEN's agency BELIFT LAB stated through an official comment, "Each member engaged in deep dialogue about their future and the group's direction, confirming Heeseung's clear musical aspirations, which we decided to respect. Accordingly, Heeseung will depart from ENHYPEN, and the group plans to continue activities as a six-member unit in future official schedules." They added, "It is difficult to explain all the processes in a short statement, but we want to convey that this decision was made after long consideration. We understand that it may be difficult for all fans to accept this news with the same feelings. Still, we hope you can understand this decision as a choice for the future of ENHYPEN and Heeseung with a generous heart." Heeseung himself stated, "As you all know, I have been continuing my personal production, spending a lot of time hoping to show you something someday. I had many things I wanted to show, but I also felt I didn't want to put my desires first within the team," and he revealed, "I am working hard to meet you all again as soon as possible." ENHYPEN, formed through Mnet's survival program 'I-LAND,' officially debuted under BELIFT LAB in November 2020. Last year, they won a grand prize trophy at a major music awards ceremony, recognized as top K-POP idols. In January of this year, they released their 7th mini-album 'THE SIN: VANISH,' achieving double million-seller status. Given ENHYPEN's overwhelming popularity in the K-POP market, it is natural for many fans to be bewildered by the sudden departure of a member.
